Hootie & The Blowfish Return to Family Circle Magazine Stadium for the Tenth Annual Homegrown Concert.
Tickets On Sale Friday, June 1 for Two Nights of Hootie & The Blowfish with Special Guests
Charleston, SC - Hootie & The Blowfish are hosting the Tenth Annual Homegrown Concert at the Family Circle Magazine Stadium in Daniel Island, SC on August 17-18, 2012. Comprised of Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, Darius Rucker, and Jim "Soni" Sonefeld, Hootie & The Blowfish pride themselves on their South Carolina roots and that loyalty brings them together year after year to raise back-to-school supplies for the Charleston County School District. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. ET through all Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com, and the Family Circle box office (800-745-3000; M-F 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.), with ticket options ranging from $31 for single night general admission to $91 for the two-night top tier package. Prices listed include ticketing fees. Tickets to either of the night shows also allow entry to the Saturday day session or admission only to Saturday afternoon can be purchased for $5 while children 12 years old or younger get in free.
In the ten years since its inception, the event has grown into two days full of music and entertainment and includes Hootie's Homegrown Roundup, now in its sixth year. Hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of school supplies have been raised assisting thousands of students with the basic back-to-school needs, including services like dental exams, haircuts, and more.
